“Creature of comfort” is a nickname given to me by a good friend, inspired by my strive towards a constant state of physical comfort. 

With a slightly different spelling, it is also what I’ve named this project, which is about cultivating comfort —comfort in being at home with ourselves and on Earth with each other.

Born out of a desire to encourage more softness in the world, we explore ideas, goods, and practices around the act of taking care of ourselves, of each other, of remaining curious, and creating small ceremonies that celebrate life.

Little pleasures and indulgences in moderation have the capacity to uplift our spirits and states of mind. Goods for Living offers pieces that enhance the experience of everyday living; both at home and on the go. 

Experiences present occasions for stimulating and intimate encounters. Stemming from the belief that as we engage with people from different walks of life, experience cultures and ways of living in different parts of the world, and build communities across borders, we shrink the world, shift from “them” to “us," and increase the likelihood of igniting ideas and conversations that may contribute to our collective healing. 

The content we share includes pocket guides on topics ranging from seasonal guides inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine to different breathing techniques. Our bi-weekly newsletter, The Journal, mimics the entirety of Creeeture of Comfort’s offerings, serving as a platform of inspiration, musings, resources and storytelling on the art of living. 

Everything we make, curate and offer is meld with intention, attention to detail, and care.
